After the assistant principals, Unit Teachers are key figures in managing the daily operations of our school. They serve as liaisons between families, teachers, and administration, working to foster strong communication and collaboration, which directly supports our school’s mission of empowering diverse futures and cultivating independence.
With expertise in curriculum implementation, data collection, and individualized education plan (IEP) development, Unit Teachers work to ensure that alignment of instruction with each student’s unique learning goals. They are also highly skilled in instructional adaPAtion and the use of assistive technology to support communication.
